Individual Show Settings

The individual show settings control the display of the content on the Individual Show pages. These settings affect all show shortcode and show page templates.

Display Show Artwork

The Display Show Artwork setting controls whether the featured image is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the featured image is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the featured image is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Display Show Date

The Display Show Date setting controls whether the shows date is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes,the shows date is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the shows date is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Display Show Time

The Display Show Time setting controls whether the show time is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes,the show time is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the show time is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Display Show Type

The Display Show Type setting controls whether the show type is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes,the show type is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the show type is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Display Show Price

The Display Show Price setting controls whether the entrance fee is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the entrance fee is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the entrance fee is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Ticket Phone Number

The Ticket Phone Number setting controls whether the phone number to order tickets is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the phone number is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the phone number is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Ticket Button

The Ticket Button setting controls whether the button to get tickets is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the button is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the button is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Additional Info

The Additional Info setting controls whether the additional information section is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the additional information section is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the additional information section is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Display Venue

The Display Venue setting controls whether the venue details section is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the venue details section is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the venue details section is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Display Venue Address

The Display Venue Address setting controls whether the venue’s address is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the venue’s address is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the venue’s address is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Display Venue Phone

The Display Venue Phone setting controls whether the venue’s phone number is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the venue’s phone number is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the venue’s phone number is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Venue Website Button

The Venue Website Button setting controls whether there is a button for the venue’s website displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the button is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the button is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Display Map

The Display Map setting controls whether there is a map showing the venue’s location on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the map is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the map is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Please note that before the map function works you will need to obtain a Google Maps API Key.

Provide Directions

The Provide Directions setting controls whether the get directions field is displayed on the individual show page. If this setting is set to Yes, the get directions field is displayed. If this setting is set to No, the get directions field is hidden. This setting defaults to Yes.

Google Maps API

The Google Maps API setting is used to enter the API key obtained from Google maps.  An API key is required to use the Google Maps functionality.

Show Default Stylesheet

The Show Default Stylesheet setting controls whether the built-in stylesheet is used to display the individual show page. This setting defaults to Yes. If you are familiar with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and you would like to customize the way the individual show page is displayed, please feel free to turn off the default stylesheet.

Use Shortcodes for Shows

The Use Shortcodes for Shows setting controls whether the built-in shortcodes can be used to show individual shows. This setting defaults to Use Shortcode.

If your are familiar with the HTML, PHP and the WordPress Template Hiararchy, and you would like to customize the markup of the artist bio page, please feel free to change this setting to Only Use Templates and create your own custom template for ArtistPress Artist Page.  (This is recommended for developer use only.).
