Creating Artist Profiles

The artist profile will be available to display using the artist shortcode. It will also be included in the dropdown list of artists to choose when creating a ArtistPress Show.

Steps to create an ArtistPress Artist

1. Sign into your WordPress website
2. ArtistPress form the menu
3. Select artists from the submenu
4. On the page that lists the artist, click the Add New button. If you are using the free version of ArtistPress, you will only be able to create one artist.
5. Enter the artist name in the title box
6. If you want the artist phone number to be available for this artist, Enter the artist phone number in the phone number field.
7. If you want an artist email to be displayed for this artist, enter their email into the email field.
8. The biography field has full editor functionality, so you add a short bio, the band’s history or a full artist statement..
9. You can add a photo of the artist or band using the featured image box in the right sidebar.
10. Save the artist
